Tucson 2030 District

Mission Statement

Our mission is to enhance the built environment in Tucson, with specific goals of decreasing energy, water and CO2 emissions from transportation by 50% by 2030, and mitigating the effects of climate change.

The Tucson 2030 District partners with building owners and managers to help them benchmark, or measure, the energy and water use of their buildings, and then works with them to find ways to reduce that usage. Thus, they save money, have better tenants and increase their real estate values. In addition, a major role of the District is education. We can facilitate or, be a catalyst, to both educate and bring folks together to share ideas, best practices, and networking through a wide variety of educational seminars, lunch ‘n learn workshops and networking events.”
