dZi Foundation



For over two decades, dZi has transformed the lives of 40,000 people in some of Nepal’s most isolated communities. dZi partners with community members to identify, design, and implement practical solutions to their most pressing challenges.
Here are some of our accomplishments:
50 New school buildings constructed
3,400 Farmers earning an average of $190 a year in new income selling crops
34 Clean drinking water systems constructed
3,300 Sanitary toilets built
19 Community buildings constructed
110 Parent Teacher Associations formed
465 Acres of farmland irrigated through 6 irrigation systems
14,500+ Days of volunteer labor contributed annually

Mission Statement

The dZi Foundation works in partnership with remote communities in Nepal to create lasting improvements in their quality of life.
We accomplish this through implementing community-driven programs that improve public facilities, public health, income levels and educational opportunities while preserving community unity, the natural environment, and indigenous culture.
