The Conservation Alliance

Mission Statement

We harness the collective power of the businesses and the outdoor communities to fund and advocate for the protection of North America’s wild places.

Since 1989, The Conservation Alliance has awarded more than $21 million in grants. Our funding has helped protect more than 70 million acres and 3,150 river miles, stopped or removed 34 dams, acquired 15 climbing areas, and designated five marine reserves.

Program Details

The Conservation Alliance is a group of companies rooted in and passionate about the outdoors, disbursing collective annual membership dues to grassroots conservation organizations. We serve the needs of our customers and their desire to have open spaces to enjoy; today and for future generations.
We collect annual membership dues from outdoor industry and like-minded companies. We then direct 100 percent of those dues to conservation organizations. All members play a role in deciding where to invest our funds by nominating organizations for funding, and voting to determine which groups receive funding.
