Climate Solutions is now helping to lead an ambitious vision of the Northwest as the first region in the nation to achieve 100% clean energy and equitable transportation. In addition to Climate Solutions’ state level advocacy in Oregon and Washington, we continue our work pushing cities, counties, and utilities to achieve ambitious climate goals and demonstrate how community-led actions toward 100% clean energy are viable solutions. Climate Solutions aims to benefit all people in the Northwest as we cut climate pollution, build a strong clean energy economy, and address economic and social inequities. Increased investment in clean energy boosts public health, creates benefits for the communities highly impacted by pollution, and drives job creation in diverse communities across the region. We are now laying the groundwork for an aggressive, strategic multi-year campaign to transform our transportation system in a just and equitable manner.
