Mission Statement

We protect and save African wildlife for future generations in Mana Pools and the Zambezi Valley areas of Zimbabwe.

Description

Wildlife poaching, poisoning and habitat encroachment have reached crisis proportions globally, and the Zambezi Valley is no exception. We work to save endangered and imperiled African wildlife including elephants, painted wolves and pangolins.

Program Details

We support anti-poaching and conservation work in the Zambezi River flood plain and adjacent areas of Zimbabwe and Zambia, including but not limited to Mana Pools National Park, in coordination with Zimbabwe Parks and Wildlife personnel in locating and detaining poachers, so that arrests can be made, and we provide funding to hire and supervise laborers who build and maintain infrastructure such as ranger stations and roads into remote areas.
