Mission Statement

Our mission is to educate and inspire communities to conserve bees, their flowers, and our countryside.

Description

We envision a future where kids frolic in pastures of flowers, buzzing with bees, alongside profitable family farmers and ranchers.
Through our research projects and education programs we are regenerating soil, bees, and communities.

Program Details

Organization founder, Sarah “Bee Girl” Red-Laird, leads a team to show kids, beekeepers, and farmers how to love their bees through classes, events, summer camps, and habitat projects. The team engages with communities across the nation, and the globe, spreading knowledge and bringing a sense of wonder from the hive to the people.
Our current education and research projects are: Kids and Bees, Renengerative Bee Pasture, The ODOT Pollinator Project, and Bee Friendly Vineyards. Our annual fundraiser is the Hive to Table event. We advocate for good agricultural policy for bees, soil, and people through a strategic partnership with the Northwest Farmers Union.
